Every event has its curveballs, and sometimes one throws a fastball. This time it was a tricky space, but Riley and our team handled it like pros, keeping everything seamless for our clients. Nothing beats seeing a plan come together perfectly!

What could go wrong...? 😕

While setting up at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, a drain pipe above our AV control area burst, sending water directly onto our gear and workspace. This could have disrupted programming and damaged critical equipment.

Thanks to quick action, our team protected the setup with Visqueen, kept the program running, and maintained presets even as water dripped overhead. Some wireless comms were damaged, but the hotel covered the cost. The event continued without interruption for attendees.

No panic. No pause. Just quick thinking, calm under pressure, and a flawless event for attendees.

Because when Murphy’s Law strikes, our crew’s got it handled.

Curved 4:1 LED screen? ✔️

Leveraging the balcony for projection? ✔️

CEI designed and produced an Investigator Meeting where every visual detail inspired and engaged attendees from every angle. The curved LED screen served as the visual centerpiece, while projection mapping wrapped around the venue’s balcony to create a sense of motion and depth. Uplighting highlighted key areas, and pipe and drape framed the space with a polished, professional finish. Our Creative Services team ensured every visual cue, color choice, and transition aligned perfectly with the meeting’s message, and the clients brand. The result was a fully integrated experience that kept attendees focused, energized, and connected to the content from start to finish.
