As the thunder crashes outside, I’m cozied up inside, listening to the rain and letting the storm roll on. Sometimes life brings its own storms, but there’s something comforting about being safe, warm, and grateful for a quiet day at home.

Life seems harder right now, but I know from experience that some of these side effects can calm down in a day or two. I’m still here, fighting hard and doing my best to make these little inconveniences disappear so I can free up my brain and get back to writing again.

One step at a time. One day at a time. The fight continues, and so does the hope.

Just hanging in there. My body is recovering from Round 1. Is it supposed to be this way? I’m so tired, a little nauseous, and taking things one day at a time. I can’t complain though—I’m resting, healing, and hoping each day gets a little easier.

Don’t forget to advocate for yourself. If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts, ask questions, and get testing when needed. You know your body best.

Hey friends, we’re still searching for our beloved Peter, our tiny Squishmallow pig with white flowers. We haven’t found the right one yet. He’s small, had white flowers (not colorful ones), and we’d love one with his tag (even though, ironically, we’ll probably take it off anyway).

If anyone finds him in a regular store (like CVS or Five Below), please grab him for me! I’ll cover the cost and shipping. It’s been over a month without him, and we miss our Peter dearly!

Let’s bring him home. 💕

Good day, everyone. 💙

My first chemo pump has been removed, and thankfully it was just a tiny pinch. Today I managed to pick up some groceries, do some laundry, stop at the post office, and run another errand.

An amazing organization also sent dinner, which was such a blessing. I’m back in bed now dealing with some nausea, but overall, I’m calling today a win. 💪🎗️

Once there is life, there is hope.

Cancer has taught me many things, but one of the biggest lessons is to focus my energy on the people who genuinely care. The ones who check in, encourage me, celebrate the good days, and help me through the hard ones.

I am who I am. What you see is what you get. Some people will understand me, and some won’t, and that’s okay. I’m not here to please everyone. I’m here to keep fighting, keep advocating, and keep making the most of every day I’ve been given.

Today, I’m grateful. Grateful for my family, my friends, my followers, and everyone who has supported me on this journey. Cancer may be part of my story, but it does not define who I am.

If there’s one thing I hope you take from my page, it’s this: listen to your body. If something feels off, don’t ignore it. Push for answers. Advocate for yourself. Early detection can save lives.

One day at a time. One step at a time. Never give up hope.
