Enchanted Blade Films is an independent film production and consultancy company based in Carmel, NY, created and owned in 2020 by Tim Bohrman, Porter Durkee, and Jennifer Chan. Our goal is to provide creative film service to our community, Carmel and beyond. We want to offer our skills and experience to our community, whether in the form of producing scripts, filming events, editing projects, or more.

Our team is excited to announce that our feature film, “Legends of the Gallowglass”, has been selected for New York Lift Off Film Festival!

We are extremely grateful to have this honor. We want to thank our supporters, crew, and cast for their persistent dedication starting back in 2021.

Our High School Filmmakers Program Is Officially in Progress

After a couple of months of script workshopping, our first project is starting production! We are so excited to be working with Killian Crosby on his short film “The Rose Reaper” this summer! This week we began our crew and cast calls and we have a very exciting month ahead of us 🎬

We are pleased to announce our high school film program! We are offering the opportunity for students to bring their own stories to life! Two scripts will be chosen as finalists and one additional script will be chosen to be workshopped. We are so excited to start this amazing project and we can’t wait to read all your amazing submissions!

We are pleased to announce a new short film: “The Nutcracker,” written and directed by one of our co-founders, Tim Bohrman. The story follows members of a local ballet school who must overcome rivalry and jealousy to pull off their production of The Nutcracker. The cast and crew will use the improvisational and cyclical form of documentary photography to capture the fictional story and present it as a documentary.

All funds raised will be used to cover travel and meal expenses, production expenses such as props, costumes, set design, and equipment, as well as marketing and publicity.

Enchanted Blade Films is holding our second and FINAL summer screening of our feature film "Legends of the Gallowglass" We were overwhelmed with how much success our first screening gave us, so we are so excited to hold another one! It will be August 17th at 7:00pm!

We cannot put into words how grateful we are to everyone who came out to the official premiere of our feature film "Legends of the Gallowglass"! The launch was bigger than we could've dreamed of with a turn out of 80+ attendees!

Thank you so much for those of you who supported this premiere and have supported Enchanted Blade Films at any point of our journey.

The premiere is right around the corner!

Walk through our LoG Museum and grab some delicious food & drinks during the event! As well as, enter our 50/50 Cash Raffle and check out our first ever LoG Merch, including t-shirts and hats!

This event’s dress code is “dressy casual”, so be sure to dress up or wear your finest medieval tunics!
