New court filings in a Boone County civil lawsuit detailing a Zionsville property dispute claim that the deceased owner, Carolyn Pennington, had a deeply strained relationship with her family, including her grandson, former NBA player Josh McRoberts. Attorneys representing Town Councilor Sarah Sampson filed documents defending the $750,000 land sale, arguing Pennington was of sound mind and acted of her own free will.
