A beautiful day filled with sunshine, family, and heartfelt moments ☀️❤️

So nice to return to The Hanford Garden in Sutter Creek — formerly known as The Garden at Sutter Creek. The new owner, Sabrina, has done a fantastic job rebranding and enhancing the venue. My personal favorite upgrade? The fresh turf at both the ceremony and reception sites — it looked amazing 🌿👏🏼

What made Jason + Kelly’s day so special were the personal touches woven throughout the celebration to honor their family — truly meaningful and memorable.

Had another great opportunity to work with Danielle Seagraves of Amador Event Company — always a pleasure 🙌🏼
And the highlight of the night? Those incredible cookies from The Yummy Cookie in El Dorado Hills 🍪🔥

Today, I had the privilege of celebrating Doug + Janet Field 💍
What an incredible love story.
Doug (76) and Janet (78) were each married for 50 years to their spouses — both of whom bravely battled ALS. Through shared strength and compassion, they found one another and began a new chapter together ❤️

It was a day filled with love, laughter, and pure joy — a true reminder that it’s never too late for love.

Fun fact: Doug and Janet are avid cruisers 🚢 — a perfect reflection of the adventurous spirit they share!

An unforgettable day and a perfect way to close out a tripleheader wedding weekend 🎶

Now let’s talk about Matt Memod, owner and chef extraordinaire 👨‍🍳
He broke out his legendary MAC N CHEESE 🧀🔥 and served up pizza on sweet bread that was mind-blowing. Just one of the many reasons I love coming back to Newcastle Gardens.

Fun fact: Joe + Sarah are huge Halloween and pumpkin fans, and that festive fall theme was beautifully woven throughout the day 🎃🧡

This was wedding #2 of the weekend, with one more to go tomorrow to complete the tripleheader 🏁

Our first time at Gladding Farms in Lincoln, CA, and wow… what a beautiful venue 🌿✨

Big props (pun intended 😄) to the owners — Chad and his team — for creating such a warm, welcoming, and absolutely stunning space.

It was a night full of “small world” moments 🌎💫
I DJ’d the wedding of Kyle’s sister, Kaylin, and her husband Colby Silkwood back in November 2021 — so it was great to reconnect with the family again ❤️
And another full-circle moment: I got to work with photographer Yumi, who I last teamed up with also in 2021! 📸

The dance floor was packed, the weather was perfect, and the energy was incredible from start to finish 🔥
Couldn’t have asked for a better night or a better couple.

☕️🍩🥖 Final Churro Review 🥖🍩☕️

We’re wrapping things up at my favorite churro spot — Willie’s Churros, just outside of Starbucks in California Adventure. 🙌

Honestly, most of my best churro memories come from Willie’s, so it feels right to finish here. Today’s feature: the Coffee & Donut Churro. 🍩 While the “donut” part of the description doesn’t bring much, the big question is… will the coffee sugar and coffee-infused syrup bring it home?

It’s been a year since Cade and I teamed up for a review (last time it was fritters in Orleans Square). This time, we’re tackling the Halloween Town Mayor Churro — complete with its star feature: gooey Marshmallow Crème. 👻🍫🔥

Today’s feature: the Straw-Batty Churro — right in front of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. 🍓🦇

Joining me is my good friend Connor Cable, part of the amazing husband-and-wife wedding team ECC Productions (shoutout to Emma too!). We’ve worked plenty of weddings together, but today… we’re tackling churros instead of dance floors.

This setting gives me a little churro PTSD 😅 — it’s the same spot where I faced the infamous Ghost Pepper Churro a few years back. 🔥🌶️ Let’s hope today’s review doesn’t leave the same scars.
