El Batidor

El Batidor Cate School's Student Newspaper El Batidor originated in 1919 as the Santa Barbara School's newspaper.

Once the Santa Barbara School became Cate School, the name El Batidor (Spanish for "The Outrider") was adopted. Over time, more and more students started referring to El Batidor as El Bat. To this day, El Bat remains a prominent source of news for Cate Students. STAFF (2011-2012)
