Update! Sounds Good!

‼️ MORNING UPDATE‼️

If you were in the valley yesterday, you probably didn’t stay dry! It rained hard, then it rained more! Luckily the damage wasn’t as bad as we expected!

Temperatures overnight dropped down to single digits and left us a thick crust on the network. Sterling is currently out with the snowmobile and drag, and word has it, he is able to crush it up and make a skiable surface! He will be opening trails as he moves along the network. Make sure you check out Nordic Pulse to see what we have to offer today.

We see a little bit of snow over the next few nights, and we are hopeful it will accumulate into something we can mix into the base to create some skiable magic! We are all crossing our fingers🤞🤞

❄️❄️Although we admit the trails are not in the best condition with the light and fluffy snow we love, we do have snowshoeing available today as an activity!! Our MSR brand snowshoes have rugged traction spikes that will allow you to enjoy our trails, no matter the conditions! Don’t let a little ice stop you from getting outside to enjoy your vacation week! Trail passes and rentals can be purchased inside the lodge.

🔥The lodge and retail store will be open from 9 AM till 4 PM today! Stop by and our team will be happy to help you have a memorable adventure!

🫎🫎The Bull Moose Café is CLOSED today! We will let you know what their operating hours are for the remainder of the week. The weather and our trail conditions will dictate this! Stay tuned HERE for info.

🧊🧊We will be assessing ice rink conditions throughout the morning and let you know where things stand. Before this storm system, we were waiting for the water to freeze solid that we have been flooding the rink with. If the surface is solid enough this morning, we need to get onto the rink to clear off the snow and sleet mixture that fell yesterday. Once we are able to clear it, we need to flood the rink with a few more inches of water. We understand that this waiting period is very frustrating, as people want to skate during this vacation week. We are all are struggling with the news ourselves! We PROMISE you we are working diligently to get the rink open as soon as we can!!!!!! Stick with us!
