✨ Introducing Aperitivo Society ✨

If you’ve been missing Summer Fridays… consider this your next obsession. An Italian-style Aperitivo with a Southern accent, Aperitivo Society is a new series of intimate afternoon gatherings at Wedgewood. Small plates, beautiful wines, and conversation designed for lingering.

Giovanni, winemaker for the acclaimed Matteo Correggia estate in Roero, Piemonte, will be pouring three of his family’s premier wines — Roero Arneis, Roero Nebbiolo, and the floral ‘Anthos’ dry Brachetto — paired with a Southern-inspired spin on classic Italian aperitivo bites:

- Smoked trout pâté crostini
- Tonnato deviled eggs with crisp country ham
- Pickled local veg & Italian olives
- Pimento cheese & prosciutto toast
- Heirloom tomato “caprese” skewers

🍷Menu drop! Flight Plan: British Isles on Sunday, August 24 will be the ultimate showcase of Britain’s most iconic dishes through five courses and wine pairings- think Scotch Egg, Brick Lane curry, Bakewell tart and yes, there will be black pudding. for tickets.

At the helm is David Ellis of James Beard-nominated .raleigh, who’ll trade scratch pasta for so**ed Mackeral for the evening , as we celebrate a complete reinvention of British classics, combined with beautiful North Carolina produce, and warm, European hospitality.

It’s gonna be a banger.
