COMMUNITY SUBMISSIONS CALL - our anniversary issue is coming up. It’s all about B movies & things that go bump in the night, but also Christmas, loneliness & longing.

We have a special featured artist that’s still locked in the basement 👹 and some amazing writing (one piece is titled “When Salvador Dali Identified Oscar Wilde In a Line-Up.”) But we saved a few slots for members of the CSC community - especially our loyal readers, staff writers and columnists.

Deadline 7th of December

Think classic Cream Scene -

We’d like to see poems, CNF & fiction that is evocative of this time of year.

We’d really love to see writing about some of these B movies - even a 10 ten list of your favorites.

A DIY tutorial would be 🫶🏻

Fashion is always welcome.

There’s comics by and . will make some more fruitcake.

The Stoner Chef will be back to make a psychedelic dip…

In fact, we’re hoping to have all of our columnists together in this one, so expect Audio Astrology, Devilish, Transfeminine, Mixtape Mike, Whorticulture & Ask Your Anarchist Mom.

OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS - the theme for our Valentine’s issue is “Legs Wide Open.” We chose this due to several stunning pieces that were submitted for other issues but just happened to feature….dicks. This work is funny, insightful, sometimes feminist or political. We are hoping to see more of the same - explorations on gender, sexuality, and desire. Show us the complexity of self as we pertain to the body-politic, the whole as it interacts with the parts.

No ###.

We do not have featured artists for this issue yet but we hope to see an old CSC favorite - . 🫶🏻

Submissions for Xmas “A Creature Is Stirring” have been extended to November 28.
