📣 Sunday Recap
Praise as a Way of Life, Not Just a Reaction 🙌🏾
So often, our praise is tied to God’s performance in our lives. When He opens a door, makes a way, heals our body, or answers a prayer, we praise. And rightfully so! That kind of praise is beautiful, heartfelt, and full of gratitude. But that is reactionary praise…it comes after the breakthrough.
This Sunday, Superintendent Hill gave us a deeper challenge:
What if praise was not just a response to God’s actions, but a daily decision rooted in who God is?
The kind of praise that declares:
⭐️ Even if the situation does not change, He is still worthy!
⭐️ Even when I do not understand the process, I trust His heart!
⭐️ Even if the miracle does not come the way I expect, His character remains unshakable!
This is praise that flows not from what God has done but from who God is holy, righteous, faithful, loving, sovereign, and good. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
So today, take your praise beyond the blessing. Praise Him in the dry season, in the waiting room, and in the valley.
Praise Him simply because He is God. 🙏🏽💛
Amen.
