Harvey Gerst helped design the Acoustic Black Widow guitar. Interestingly enough, a person who loved this guitar was Jimi Hendrix.

As Harvey tells it: "I ran into Jimi in the airport in Oakland, and asked him "How are you liking the Black Widow?" He says, "I love it! It's my studio guitar." Things are moving really well getting the SSL wired up to all of my rack gear today with the help of Bruce Millit from the desk doctor from L.A. He flew in for a few days to help fine tune the gear/room. And a special thanks to Mark Yant from black land revival for all of his construction hard work!
