YOUR WEEK AHEAD: June 1-5, 2026
(as of June 1 / 11:30am)
MONDAY: We started the day with some low clouds but those are slowly mixing out and eroding away. We are watching a complex of storms to the north over Tennessee and Kentucky that are diving south-southeastward and could impact our weather later this afternoon and evening. Otherwise, we will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s.
MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Lows mid 60s.
TUESDAY: There could be more low clouds to deal with at first, but skies will eventually become partly sunny with a chance of pop up showers and storms. However, chances will trend downward the closer we get to evening as an unusually drier air mass builds in. Highs around 80.
TUESDAY NIGHT: As high pressure builds over our region and drier air settles in, we will have mostly clear skies and lows unusually cool for the first week of June in the low to mid 50s.
WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY: With high pressure in place, sinking air suppressing any storm development while also providing drier air, lots of welcome sunshine will be the rule each day. Humidity values will also be unusually lower for the first full unofficial week of summer" Highs in the mid 70s to mid 80s, lows in the 50s each day.
