The Mrs. Nevada America Organization has announced its 2026 titleholders following the annual state pageant held Sunday, May 31, at Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa in North Las Vegas.

Crowned as Nevada's representatives for the upcoming national competitions were Taryn Sharp, Mrs. Nevada America 2026; Marcella Berry-Dyson, DNP, FNP-C, Mrs. Nevada American 2026; and Courtney Clark, Miss Nevada for America Strong 2026. The three women will represent the Silver State this August in Las Vegas as they compete for the national titles of Mrs. America, Mrs. American and Miss for America Strong.

The event was emceed by former Mrs. Nevada America Angie Phillips and legendary radio broadcaster and announcer Chet Buchanan, who guided the evening's competition and celebration of service, leadership and achievement. Contestants were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges that included inventor and designer Sergio Luna; fashion designer Angela Renee; Lt. Col. Jenny Ruhnke; Jeanette Lee, former Mrs. Utah America and advocate for the deaf community and American Sign Language; and Don Chareunsy, journalist and editor of VegasPublicity.com.

"Our organization is proud to celebrate women who lead with purpose, serve their communities and use their platforms to create meaningful impact," said Jackie McKenna, Executive Director of the Mrs. Nevada America Organization. “Taryn, Marcella and Courtney each bring unique experiences, accomplishments and passions to their roles, and we are honored to have them represent Nevada on the national stage."

As Mrs. Nevada America 2026, Sharp will continue advancing her platform, Heartbeat for Life, which focuses on heart health awareness and education. Inspired by her personal experience with Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) and a family history of heart disease, Sharp is dedicated to encouraging women to prioritize heart health through awareness, prevention and early detection. During her year of service as Mrs. Henderson America, she completed more than 54 community appearances and over 140 hours of community service while building partnerships with nonprofit organizations, community leaders and businesses throughout Southern Nevada.

Berry-Dyson, a transformational health care leader and doctoral-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner, will represent Nevada as Mrs. Nevada American 2026. Through her platform, Nurse Your Dreams, she encourages individuals to pursue their goals with confidence while promoting health education, mentorship and community service. With more than two decades of health care experience, including leadership roles in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Berry-Dyson has dedicated her career to improving lives through compassionate care, wellness advocacy and community outreach. She is also the founder of Las Vegas Functional Health & Wellness Center.

Clark, a fifth-generation Nevadan born and raised in Las Vegas, was crowned Miss Nevada for America Strong 2026. A marketing and finance student, scholar and community volunteer, Clark has previously held the titles of Miss Nevada Teen USA 2024 and Miss Nevada Jr. Teen 2021. Through volunteer work supporting literacy programs, youth mentorship initiatives, breast cancer awareness efforts and community service organizations, she is committed to empowering young people to lead with confidence, discipline and authenticity.

The pageant also recognized several outstanding contestants for their achievements and service. Alicia Bush was named first runner-up and received the Mrs. Congeniality Award, People's Choice Award and the Hattie Henderson Community Service Award. Living with muscular dystrophy and a survivor of human trafficking, Bush has used her personal experiences to inspire others through advocacy, resilience and community involvement. Her recognition reflects the organization's commitment to celebrating women who overcome adversity while making a positive impact in the lives of others.

As they prepare to represent Nevada on the national stage, the three titleholders will continue their advocacy efforts and community involvement throughout the state. They will also champion the organization's partnership with Victoria's Voice Foundation, working to raise awareness about opioid abuse prevention and the fentanyl epidemic through education, outreach and public engagement initiatives.

The national Mrs. America, Mrs. American and Miss for America Strong competitions will take place this August at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, bringing together contestants from across the country to compete for national titles while celebrating leadership, service and personal achievement.
