A two vehicle crash on Hwy. 293 sends several people to the hospital. According to the preliminary report, on November 26, 2025, at 2:25 p.m., a motor vehicle crash occurred on GA 293. A Toyota Sequoia was traveling north on GA 293, followed by a Toyota Corolla. A tow truck was traveling south on the same roadway. The Toyota Sequoia crossed into the southbound lane and struck the left side of the tow truck. After the initial impact, the Sequoia continued off the west side of the roadway and collided with a brick wall/ fence. Following the first collision, the Toyota Corolla also entered the southbound lane and struck the front right side of the tow truck. The force of the impact caused both the Corolla and the tow truck to rotate counterclockwise, crossing the northbound lane and leaving the roadway on the east side. During this movement, the tow truck struck the rear of the Toyota Corolla. The driver of the Toyota Sequoia was transported via life flight to Kennestone Medical center with suspected serious injuries. The driver of the Toyota Corolla was transported to Piedmont Medical Center with suspected minor injuries. The driver of the Tow truck was not transported to the hospital but suffered suspected minor injuries.
