This exclusive event will focus on three beloved varietals: a popular Sauvignon Blanc, a New World Pinot Noir, and a traditional Cabernet Sauvignon.

In this class, you’ll understand why traditional pairings work by exploring the principles of matching wine and food based on weight, structure, and intensity. Through tasting and analysis of classic combinations, you’ll build your sensory memory and gain the confidence to create your own perfect pairings.

Enjoy a curated selection of pairings featuring goat cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and beef brisket. They’ll also have crackers and bread available as a palate cleanser.

Watermelonfest will be Saturday 7/19 9am - 4pm and Sunday 7/20 12pm - 6pm.

The Durham's fourth annual summer celebration of North Carolina oysters, seasonal flavors and live music will be July 17-20, 2025.

No tickets or reservations required — just rooftop vibes, a menu full of oyster specials, craft cocktails and live music all weekend long. Menu offerings include raw oysters by the half-dozen with rotating mignonettes, broiled oysters with summer-inspired toppings, fried oyster street tacos, seafood nachos, blistered peppers and more.

Spend the night at The Durham and enjoy Oyster Fest worry-free and these perks: two custom Oyster Fest t-shirts and a $20 food & beverage credit.
