㊗️AANN is wishing everyone a joyful and peaceful Mid-Autumn Festival filled with love, reunion, and moonlight 🌕!
🈷️The Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrated for over 3,000 years, honors the fullest moon of the year as a symbol of unity and harvest. Families gather to share mooncakes and light lanterns. Even if you are unable to be with your family, you will still look up at the same bright moon, no matter how far you are separated apart.
🌟Chinese Legend Behind the Festival🌟:
According to the legend, the hero Hou Yi had shot down nine suns to save the Earth, and received the elixir of immortality as a reward. He didn't want to drink it without his wife, Chang'e, so he decided to wait and drink it later. But to keep it safe from Hou Yi's greedy apprentice, Chang'e end up drinking it herself when Hou Yi wasn't around. She floated to the moon, becoming the moon goddess, forever separated from her husband. Hou Yi, heartbroken by his wife's departure, would set out a feast of Chang'e's favorite foods, including mooncakes, to honor her and catch a glimpse of her shadow on the full moon.
May this Mid-Autumn Festival bring light to your home, warmth to your heart, and togetherness to your loved ones. 🌸🥮🐇✨
