The Cary Downtown Farmers Market presents their 5th annual Farmers Fall Festival in JUST 2 WEEKS! The event is Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9am-3pm. This year the event will be on South Academy Street from Dry to Park. The Main Stage will start the day with Blue Sky Crying at 9am. followed by their famous mid-day Once in a Blue Moon Bakery Pie Eating Contest around noon. Then Ashley LaRue Band takes the stage for the afternoon with high-energy orginals.
Bring your kids, bring your dogs, and bring your water bottles! They have a water bottle refill station for people, as well as hydration stations for your furbabies. Kids can meet Santa, be amazed by a magician, get their faces painted, and bounce in the obstacle course bounce house.
Don't forget the shopping! Over 60 awesome local vendors, including 20 regular farmers market vendors will be selling fresh produce, crafts, kids items, pet items, and home decor. Get a start on your holiday shopping with them.
And of course- COME HUNGRY! 5 food trucks as well as 4 beer and wine sellers will satisfy your appetite.
The event raises operating funds for the Cary Downtown Farmers Market to be sustainable year-round.

After you recover from Lazy Daze- mark your calendars for September 23 when The Farmers Fall Festival returns to Downtown Cary! We help to produce this event, under ChesterGoodtree with our friends at Cary Downtown Farmers Market.

The festival moves to Academy Street this year. The Town of Cary partners with us to help raise needed operating funds for the Farmers Market. It is their largest fundraiser of the year, helping to pay for a market manager and ongoing costs so that the market can operate 12 months a year (even during the slower winter season)
You will find 60 vendors to shop with,
a Main Stage to groove with,
8 food trucks to dine with,
4 brewers to sip with,
and a Children's Village to have fun with the kiddos.

All info about this event can be found on the Cary Farmers Market Facebook event page ( https://www.facebook.com/events/224235037055688

as well as their website.

While CaryCitizen retired in 2022, our founders have not been idle. We created ChesterGoodtree under which we direct festivals, publish the Downtown Cary Map, and offer commercial photography and documentary videos.

Please give their page a "Like" if you can. We'd appreciate it!
More info about our projects can be found at our website: www.chestergoodtree.com
We also founded Chatham Street Records where publisher Hal Goodtree is recording local musicians and publishing the music to all the streaming services. Lindsey Chester started Lindseysfineart where she creates watercolors of local Triangle scenes and places.
We aren't exactly "retired".

Our latest project is the Farmers Fall Festival which takes place on Saturday, September 23, from 9-3 in downtown Cary. More info on that can be found here: https://www.caryfarmersmarket.com/fff-2023/
