What if you could see every bird that visits your feeder—even when you're not watching? 🐦👀

This COOLFLY camera bird feeder is truly one of my favorite things at the lake house! It alerts me when a bird arrives, lets me watch them live, saves videos, and the free app even identifies the different birds that visit. I get anywhere from 40–100 visits a day, starting with my cardinal who shows up almost every morning around 6:30.

And one of my favorite features? It's completely solar powered! No electricity and no batteries to worry about.

We did learn one lesson the first night when a very determined raccoon helped himself to dinner for about 30 minutes. 😂 We added this guard to the post, and since then—no raccoons and no squirrels!

I can see EVERY bird that visits my feeder—even when I'm not outside watching! 🐦👀

Today I'm taking you into my little bird sanctuary, but first I have to show you one of the coolest additions I've made: my COOLFLY camera bird feeder!

I have somewhere between 40–100 bird visits a day, and this feeder captures them for me. At the end of the day, I can see which birds visited and how many times, watch their videos up close, and even save or share my favorites. It's solar powered too, so once it's set up, I get to simply enjoy the show!

A beautiful home doesn't have to come from one store—or one big budget.

Don't overlook those little pockets of dead space in your home! 👀

I had this completely unused wall behind the door in our master bath water closet and kept thinking... there has to be something I can do with that space.

I found these adjustable shelves online, and they were the perfect solution! Now all those extras that used to take up valuable drawer and cabinet space—lotions, soaps, medicines, Band-Aids and bathroom necessities—have their own easy-to-reach home.

The shelves are simple to install, and my favorite part is that you can move them around to fit whatever you're storing. You could even use them in your linen closet, and they'd be wonderful for spices or smaller items in a walk-in pantry.

This may be one of the most meaningful Amazon finds I've ever shared.

This beautiful Tree of Life keepsake has a discreet space inside to hold a small portion of a loved one's ashes, with a light-up base that gives it such a peaceful glow. You can also place a candle on top.

We use ours for Robbie's mother's ashes and loved it so much that we gave one to each of his siblings. It's such a beautiful way to keep the memory of someone you love close without feeling like a traditional urn.

What if an empty hallway could become one of the most meaningful spaces in your home?

This little area is still a work in progress, but I'm creating a memorial space for the family members we've lost—and I already love how meaningful it's becoming.

One of my favorite finds is this beautiful Tree of Life keepsake. It holds a small tube of ashes inside, lights up from the base, and can also hold a candle on top. We loved it so much that we gave one to each of Robbie's siblings. Such a sweet way to keep someone you love close.

It's the little touches that make a functional space feel like home.

Remember my little coffee bar tucked into the laundry room? Since this is a working space, I wanted to keep it practical—but that doesn't mean it can't be pretty!

I tucked this basket into the deep corner behind my coffee jars and added the decorative fishing net and wooden fish to bring a little bit of our lake-house personality into the space. Such a simple detail, but I love the warmth and character it adds!

Don't waste that wall space! 👀

What used to be a doorway is now one of my favorite—and most-used—spots in the house: our little food "apothecary."

When we closed in our screened porch, this doorway was going away too. Instead of simply closing it up, I saw all that space and thought... how can we use this? My husband added the beadboard, trim, shelves and brackets, and our apothecary was born!

I use these jars for everything from flour and sugar to nuts, granola, salad and pancake toppings—and, of course, the candy stays on the top shelf for good reason. 😂 The airtight jars keep everything fresh and make it so easy for everyone to grab what they need.
