Respectfully, if you've never had to rebuild your life while exhausted and unsure of who you are anymore, your advice isn't intended for me.
People love giving advice from a place of never having experienced what you're going through. They tell you to "just start fresh" or "focus on the positive" as if you have the energy reserves they do. As if you're not rebuilding from rubble while simultaneously questioning your entire identity. As if their advice designed for people with intact foundations applies to someone whose entire world imploded.
But you're not in a normal situation. You're exhausted in ways they can't comprehend. You're unsure of who you even are anymore after everything you've been through. You're rebuilding while depleted, healing while functioning, trying to figure out your identity while surviving. Their well-meaning advice doesn't account for any of that. So respectfully, if they've never had to do what you're doing, their advice wasn't made for you. You need guidance from people who've been where you are, who understand the specific hell of rebuilding from nothing while running on empty. Everyone else can keep their opinions.
