💡 Being active is priceless… but the equipment? Not so much 😅

When I became a new mom 30 years ago, I thought “stay-at-home” meant relaxation. Instead, I discovered how relentless motherhood really is — and how expensive it can be when you want to stay active too.

So I got creative: trading old gear, renting skates ⛸️, even biking 🚴 with my baby in a trailer. Those little choices not only saved me money, but helped me build consistency and balance.

I Am Relentlessly Enough.

When I first imagined being a stay-at-home mom, I thought it would be all about cozy mornings, long brunches, and extra time at home. The reality? The mom part is relentless. The job never ends, the pay is nonexistent, and sometimes even buying yourself something means asking permission. That can feel heavy.

This clip from Ali Wong made me laugh, but it also reminded me how important it is to talk about the invisible labor mothers do every single day. ❤️
