INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER is officially out in theaters now and this time The Further isn’t waiting for people to enter it anymore, the evil is finding a way into our world.

The sixth INSIDIOUS movie follows Gemma, played by Amelia Eve, a young mother raising her daughter in the same house where she grew up. She discovers she can travel into The Further, but the terrifying part is that she can also bring whatever lives there back with her, and once the demons realize what she can do, they begin using her as their doorway into reality.

Lin Shaye is officially back as Elise Rainier alongside Brandon Perea, while the story introduces a completely new family and expands the mythology beyond the Lambert family. James Wan, Jason Blum, Leigh Whannell and Oren Peli are all producing, bringing the franchise back to the supernatural nightmare that started everything.

Marie Laveau and Papa Legba are officially reuniting in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 13, bringing one of COVEN’s darkest supernatural relationships back when the new season premieres September 24 on FX.

Angela Bassett returns as Marie Laveau, while Orlando Jones steps into the role of Papa Legba, previously portrayed by the late Lance Reddick in COVEN and APOCALYPSE.

Their history runs much deeper than a simple alliance. Marie’s immortality came through a terrifying bargain with Papa Legba, forcing her to sacrifice an innocent soul every year in exchange for eternal life.

Linda Cardellini says Crystal Lake will use its eight episode format to build a bigger story, but once the horror hits, the series is not holding back.

The actress revealed that the upcoming Friday the 13th prequel features extremely practical gore effects, including scenes so intense that there was “blood everywhere” on set. Cardellini even admitted some of the effects were gross enough that she wished they had not been quite so realistic.

So while Crystal Lake may spend more time developing its characters and mystery, fans can still expect the kind of brutal, bloody payoff the franchise is known for.

BREAKING: Marie Laveau is officially returning in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 13, with reports now claiming Angela Bassett’s legendary Voodoo Queen could receive an entire standalone episode devoted to her story. The standalone episode detail has not yet been confirmed by FX or Ryan Murphy.

Bassett has described Marie as one of the highlights of her career and said she was thrilled when she received the call to play her again. Season 13 will mark Laveau’s third appearance after COVEN and APOCALYPSE.

Ryan Murphy has already revealed that Season 13 is much bigger than another COVEN continuation, describing it as an Avengers style collision where characters from across the entire AMERICAN HORROR STORY universe come together against an ultimate evil.

Marie Laveau has always felt too powerful to remain a supporting character for long. If AHS: 13 really gives the Voodoo Queen an episode entirely to herself, Angela Bassett finally getting that spotlight could be one of the season’s biggest moments.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 13 officially premieres September 24 on FX and Hulu, bringing Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts and several more franchise icons back for what could be the biggest AHS season yet.

Ryan Murphy has revealed that this is not simply another COVEN chapter. Season 13 will pull characters from across the entire AMERICAN HORROR STORY universe together, with Murphy comparing the massive crossover to THE AVENGERS as familiar faces unite against an “ultimate evil.”

Jessica Lange is returning as all four of her iconic characters, including Constance Langdon, Sister Jude, Fiona Goode and Elsa Mars, while Sarah Paulson is expected to play six or seven characters and Evan Peters around five. Even the sets and original costumes are being brought back to connect different eras of the franchise.

After years of completely separate nightmares, AMERICAN HORROR STORY is finally opening the doors between them. Murder House, Coven, Apocalypse and the rest of this twisted universe are about to collide when Season 13 arrives September 24.

Mia Goth is being eyed to play the main antagonist in SCREAM 8, potentially bringing one of modern horror’s most intense actresses into the franchise as its next major threat.

Keke Palmer and Kathryn Newton have also auditioned for roles in the movie, placing two more major horror names in consideration for the next chapter.

Goth has already built a reputation for playing deeply unsettling and emotionally unpredictable characters through X, PEARL and MA###INE, making her an incredibly strong fit for a villain capable of pushing Ghostface into even darker territory.

Mia Goth facing off against the survivors of SCREAM would instantly give the eighth movie one of the franchise’s most exciting and dangerous new additions.
