Evening folks. We've had some comments about email subscribers receiving several copies of our weekly digest. There was a bug in the system, but it's been fixed. Thanks for the input!

We've been gathering opinions all morning on how people feel about the government shutdown and how it was resolved yesterday, along with the impasse over raising the debt ceiling. If you would like to add your thoughts to our article -- which will be posted later today -- please share them here or wrote to the editor at [email protected]. Thanks!

City officials say there's been a lot of debate about which storm caused the most damage: the one early a.m. Friday or the storm that hit the city in October 1998 (the day of Matthew Shepard's funeral). What do you think?

10/07/2013

Do you have any photos of the Casper storm damage or clean-up effort that you'd like to share? How about stories about how the storm, power outages, downed trees, etc. affected you and your family? We're compiling an article about the city's clean-up effort, plus the utilities, and we'd like to hear what you have to say. Were you happy with the response time in getting power restored? Are you still waiting for a crew to get to your house? Please email Citizen Editor Kerry Drake at [email protected]. Thanks for your help!

Now that the federal government shutdown is under way, who do you blame, and why? How has it affected your life? We are compiling information and opinions for a story, so if you respond, we may be contacting you later. If you have something you want to tell us directly without using this forum, please write to the editor at [email protected]. Thanks for your help!
