Job Description:
In the Spring, Summer, and Fall:
As a Dock Hand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Brindley's Harbor Resort and Acorn Hill Resort. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the harbor, ensuring the safety and convenience of guests' watercraft.
* Cleaning fish for guests, providing exceptional customer service.
* Distributing bait to anglers and helping with their needs.
* Fueling up boats and performing basic maintenance checks.
* Aiding in the launch and retrieval of boats.
* Participating in yard work and general maintenance tasks around the resorts.
In the Winter:
As an Ice Fishing Guide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Brindley's Harbor Resort and Acorn Hill Resort. Your responsibilities will include:
* Plowing ice roads, ensuring the safety and convenience of guests.
* Moving wheelhouses and skid houses from location to location chasing fish.
* Cleaning fish for guests, providing exceptional customer service.
* Distributing bait to anglers and assisting with their needs.
* Fueling trucks, snowmobiles, and other winter equipment, and performing basic maintenance checks.
* Participating in snow removal and general maintenance tasks around the resorts.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
* Must be able to work on your feet for hours at a time
* Possession of a valid driver's license.
* Flexibility to work on the weekends.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
* A passion for the outdoors and an eagerness to learn.
