‼️TORNADO WARNING - MINNESOTA

A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Ogilvie, MN or 18 miles north of Cambridge, MN moving southeast at 35 mph.

When Cirrus Aircraft co-founder Alan Klapmeier barely survived a midair collision in 1985, he vowed to put a parachute into all future Cirrus airplanes. By 1999, Alan and his brother Dale had created the Cirrus SR20. Equipped with a parachute, improved visibility, and an ergonomic interior design, it was safer and stylish. In 2001, the Minnesota-based company debuted the faster and improved SR22. In 2003, the Museum's Cirrus SR22, N266CD, became the first single-piston engine aircraft with a “glass panel”— fully integrated avionics via computer screens—to be FAA certified.

• Perform the full 45-minute Minnesota driveway goodbye. Mean it. Start a second one on the way to the car.
• Insist the loon is “saying something” and provide a different translation every time.
• Maintain that Babe the Blue Ox was based on a cow you personally knew and “won’t get into it.”
• Compliment a neighbor’s lawn so passive-aggressively it legally qualifies as a threat. Punctuate with one “ope.”
• Establish a casserole-based local economy. Hotdish is the gold standard. Tator Tots are currency.
• Develop firm, non-negotiable opinions about correct golf cart and pontoon speed and enforce them from the private shore.
• Insist there’s a lake monster. Refuse to say which lake. Imply you’ve “reached an understanding” with it.
• Keep a dock for purely emotional reasons.
• Defend the Cocoon screenings to the press when they inevitably come asking.
