VENUE CHANGE for Sept 15 Data Center Public Forum - Now in Casselton

CASSELTON, N.D. - Vern Thompson, candidate for North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner, will host a Data Center Forum on Tuesday, September 15, 7:00-9:00 PM, at the CENTRAL CASS HIGH SCHOOL THEATER, 802 5th St N, Casselton, ND (East Entrance).
This event is for the public to have their voices heard and get answers on what we know about data center development across the state of North Dakota. Presenters will talk about energy and water use, development scale, benefits, impacts, and what communities can do to plan.

Agenda:
1. The Closed Loop Myth, presented by Environmental Engineer Sandra Larson
2. Data Center Power Use and Infrastructure, presented by Nuclear Engineer Ian Gilley
3. Responsible Hyperscale Development Framework, presented by Vern Thompson
4. Harmony Township Residents speak on their experiences.

Public Q&A
Current Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has been invited to attend but has a prior engagement. Representatives from Geronimo Power, a Minnesota company that is acquiring a parcel of land in Durbin Township between Casselton and Mapleton, have also been invited.

🏫Maple Valley Resource Deputy Avery Lock Helps School Secure $4,700 Grant

Maple Valley Public School was extremely fortunate to receive a Community Betterment Grant from Pioneer Seeds : Innovative Ag Solutions.

Through the partnership with Innovative Ag Solutions and Maple Valley School Resource Deputy Avery Lock, the grant will help provide emergency backpacks and medical supplies for teachers, along with door barricades, corridor signs and convex mirrors.

These resources will help enhance the safety and security of students and staff at Maple Valley School.

A big thank you to Pioneer Seeds: Innovative Ag Solutions for supporting Maple Valley and investing in the safety of our community!
