With a pen we act as an important medium to control corruption and scams. Through mass communication, we help create awareness of social issues, mismanaged tax dollars, corrupt public and nonprofit officials. We protect the American people; we protect them from the enemy within. Our pen using fidelity to truth and fearless reporting is our cheapest and most powerful weapon in defense of America, a

nd the American way. "Yes, follow the money, but follow, also, the lies ... (to the) ... best obtainable version of the truth."

Tales from the Rural Patrol

(Editor’s note: Factual information for ‘Tales’ is provided by the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office. All persons listed are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges can be amended or dismissed.) ***

Aug. 28
*Who knows, maybe Alyiah Loader had to use the girl’s room, she was cited for doing 71 in a 45.
*Cory G Gamby needs to get his dogs licensed. The pups in question were up to some tomfoolery and chased some chickens. The chickens nor the chicken rancher was amused.
*Aaron Carl Fisherc had a misdemeanor warrant out of Multnomah County for driving under the influence.
* Holly Hillis needed som**hing she didn’t have money for. She went to jail on burglary one and two chargers. Oh, also theft two. *Joseph Bishop was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of m**h.
*Klinten Loe got a ticket. Not sure what for, but a ticket none the less. Klinten was feeling low after the ticket.

Aug. 29
*Dylan Douglas was driving under the influence of intoxicants. He also had a warrant and his Hyundai was impounded. *Esai Alvarez wasn’t supposed to drive a vehicle and he knew it. The odd thing is that he was doing 87 in a 55.
*Brian Vitter was given a break and only warned for speeding, failing to renew his registration and driving uninsured. Sadly, he was cited for driving while suspended.

Aug. 30
*Shayla Hoy was to told get someone with a valid license to get her car. Hoy was cited for driving while suspended.
*Morgan Barnes had to get a buddy to get his car. Barnes went to jail on a driving while suspended charge.
*After a long night of silliness Kristina Reineke was in cuffs. The fun night out started with someone getting punched in the face. It ended with a field sobriety test and charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Aug. 31
* Ching Chuano Yang was racing to beat another vehicle before the merge and was going over 90mph Yang was cited speed racing. More California money.
*Another typical Californian gave us some money when Amanda Oxford was cited for 52 in a 30.
*Mathew Gordon failed to obey a traffic control device he got a warning for that. However, he was cited for driving while suspended.
*Not sure how a Honda Civic was able to get up to 103 mph, but Isaiah Council was cited for 103 in a 55. Guess Honda has put more gerbils under the hood.
*Jewlyanna (seriously, that’s how it was spelled on the report) Perry must have dropped her v**e and her erratic driving caused her to be pulled over for suspicion of driving under the influence. Luckily, she was only cited for careless driving.
*For some reason a car flipped and caused a road not mentioned to be momentarily blocked. Someone didn’t want law enforcement called for of a DUI. No one was charged so I’m guessing they weren’t drunk, but who knows. In the end, it doesn’t even matter. No one was injured, but one female had a big headache. Parents were called to the scene. Hopefully they brought some Alive to alleviate her big headache.
*Ethan Bowman was cited for 76 in a 40. *Logan Kine ran out of gas. Someone didn’t trust him. To be honest the entire entry was nonsense and I really can’t figure out what happened. Kine’s parole officer wasn’t happy and he went to jail. Now you know what I know.

Sept. 1
*In a odd twist of events a human had to have their daughter pick them up after being cited for driving while suspended.

Sept. 2
*Someone made an online report about emancipated puppies in a small cage. Deputies responded, they were healthy and access to water. The owner was not around the camp, but when she showed up, she wished she hadn’t. Shannon Peterson had a warrant from the Oregon Parole Board. Additionally for unknown reasons Peterson was charged with Criminal mischief one and burglary two. Peterson no longer needed her camp on Old Stage as she got a bed at the jail. Now that Peterson is likely heading back to prison, there is a vacancy at Old Stage Park.
*Someone was cited for not having an operator’s license. I assume it was a driver’s license. Maybe it was a K9 license, but who knows, do you?
*Duane Clark had a warrant for criminal nonsupport out of Jackson County. Unfortunately, that was the least of his problems. When he took his son to get items from a trip. In a text the stepfather said he was he would “deal with Clark.” I guess that means he would give Clark a beat down. As Dalton says in Roadhouse, “nobody wins in a fight.”
*Brannon Crotts was removed from a property but came back to get his kitty. Certainly, that is understandable but the land owner didn’t. PoPo came and charged Crotts with Tresspass two. Now the real mystery is why Crotts was taken to Three Rivers Medical Center. Anyone? Anyone, anyone, anyone know? Bueller? My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend brother’s girlfriend, heard from this guy that knows this kid who is going with a girl who saw him pass out at 31 flavors last night. Never had a clue there that many flavors of Meow Mix.
