As we honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day today, we celebrate their resilience, rich cultures, and the lasting traditions they’ve carried through generations, while also recognizing the harm and injustices caused by colonialism.

Uprising recognizes that we live and work on land taken from the Meskwaki, Wahpeton, Ioway, Sauk, and Sioux Nations.

May we continue to learn from Indigenous voices, honor their histories, and stand in solidarity in the pursuit of justice and healing.
