Poet on the radio!
Our author (and co-founder) Michael Florida, Author (aka Michael Palmer ) along with several other poets on Damon Thomas 's radio show There Is Life After Life on Gainesville 100.1 WGOT this morning with "Those Christian Boys" from his verse novel Some Boys Are Better Dead.

Wayward Writers Press is both proud and humbled that one of our poets, Corie Nixon, was asked to create and share a poem this past weekend for the 2nd Annual Townie Together at Restless Moons, a fundraiser for Joey Huffman and the ALS Foundation which raised over $13,000!
Corie and our co-founder Michael Palmer designed an 11x17 poetry broadside poster that we printed to go along with the poem and was offered for sale along with books from the press. Half of all proceeds were donated to the cause!
If you'd like to help out, there are a few broadsides available for $20 each. If you are local to the Harrisonburg area, reach out to the press, Corie, or Michael to order one.
