Set your calendars! May's mixer for local creatives is happening this week, on
Thursday from 6-8 at Studio 81, and open to all creatives in Iowa. Artists, filmmaker, musicians, writers, content creators and fashion designers welcome!

We had the pleasure of hosting local entrepreneur Brent Stepanek, from Stack Wellness Cafe and House of Iron, for a podcast recently, in an all-new setup at the studio to talk about entrepreneurship, what it takes to build something from nothing, & the idea of leaving a business legacy. Thanks to Brent for the first of many enlightening conversations to come!

Just a reminder to everyone, that tonight's social mixer is NOT happening. We'll see you on May 22nd for next month's gathering of the creative minds!

Some days we host a photo shoot, some days we host a commercial or music video shoot, and other days... We host the really cool local "wizard" fashion designer, Randy Lee, who paints our rolling wall purple for his upcoming fashion show at the studio, on 4/19!

There's a wizard in the studio! We had the pleasure of hosting Randy Lee, from Randy2Wear clothing, as he shot a video for his fashion show next month, on April 19th. (Hosted here at Studio 81!)

Randy is a super cool dude who makes unique paint-splattered clothing that are the coolest threads you've ever seen.
