This month’s Book of the Month soundtrack has Bag Lady by Erykah Badu written ALL over it. 🎶📖

We follow Leigh, who ends up in a small town after going on the run following a tragic bus accident while being transported to prison. As the story unfolds, we start peeling back the layers of Leigh’s past and go right along with her through grief, healing, identity, and learning what freedom really looks like when you’ve spent so long carrying the weight of everything around you.

This story had me feeling every emotion possible. It’s raw, emotional, and beautifully written. Safe to say this is easily one of my favorite reads of the year so far. 🌼✨
