Last Saturday we were lucky to stumble upon a Cast Member Fair where furloughed or let go Disney Cast Members were selling art, crafts, food, and all-around awesome creations! This was an awesome event put on by the community church in Celebration, FL, and we met SO many wonderful people and snapped up some one-of-a-kind treasures! Sadly, many, many cast members have lost their jobs and health insurance due to the pandemic, but it is so inspiring to see the community coming together to support them and how they support each other! The cast members ARE the magic at Disney! ❤️

The events are the first Saturday of the month, and I’ve tagged some of our favorite vendors here if you’d like to show them some love and bless yourself with their awesome handiwork!

Missing the peace and the beauty of the mountains. Have you ever been to Cade’s Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains? It’s about as peaceful and beautiful as they come. Fresh air, birds chirping, and wildlife around every bend. It was one of our “COVID trips” last June, and boy did we need it!

Spent the morning wandering the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival that opened last week, and as always, it is stunning and just good for the soul! The flowers smell sweet even through a mask, and seeing our favorite characters in topiary form always brings a smile to my face! Happy Monday friends! 🌼💐🌸🌻🌺

TBT to one of the best weeks of our lives and proof positive that “no matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true!” ✨

Taking a Disney Cruise was a bucket list dream for us, and we scraped and saved for a year to make it happen. And y’all, these cruises do NOT disappoint. The service, amenities, accommodations, and food were unparalleled! We’ve never been so spoiled nor had so much unabashed fun! Childcare for the kids is included in the cost of the cruise, and we would pick them up from the Oceaneer (kids) Club hearing how they had tea with Belle or took Jedi lessons from Rey! Crazy wonderful stuff and Disney Magic even greater than we’ve experienced in the theme parks!

Right about the time in the week I wish I could just jump in a canoe and paddle away! But alas, the weekly grind continues, and I’m reminded that it’s a blessing to have good work to do and loved ones to do it for! 🛶

Happy Tip Tuesday friends! More than ever, it seems Florida has become a destination of choice for weary pandemicans. Well, beach season is almost here, and Florida has two very different and distinctive coasts: the Atlantic (on the right) and the Gulf (Texas side). But which one is right for you?

The Gulf of Mexico (first pic) on a clear sunny day will give you that Bahamas, picturesque beach day feel. Whiter, soft sand, clear blue water. Just stunning. The waves are much smaller and sometimes non-existent which is great if you have little ones! We personally love the Bradenton Beach/AMI area, but even up to the panhandle around Panama City looks like this - so gorgeous!

The Atlantic Ocean side (second pic) is where you want to go for the waves and boasts famous FL beaches like Daytona and Cocoa! The water isn’t quite as blue nor the sand as soft, but the Atlantic beaches tend to be super close to cool places like Cape Canaveral (go see a Space X rocket launch!) or Disney (just an hour away)! Time to start planning your beach days friends! ☀️🌴🌊

Happy happy birthday to my one true love Zachary! So thankful that Covid hasn’t been our only adventure this year! We’ve still hiked trails, zip lined mountains, and chased waterfalls! I would follow you anywhere my darlin!
