‼️OHIO‼️The Republicans in the statehouse are pushing House Bill 795, which would devastate Ohio’s Medicaid program and cause many Ohioians to die. Why are they doing this? Because they want to stop “Medicaid fraud” that was outlined in a report from the far-right blog The Daily Wire. There is NO real evidence of widespread Medicaid fraud in Ohio. And if there was, it’d be the Republicans fault because they’re the ones who have been in charge of our state for the last 35 years.
HB 795 would force many into EXPENSIVE institutions, ban all family members from serving as caregivers, force Ohio to establish time limits for common home care services, and much much more.
In the words of the amazing , “Any politician who supports this bill is sentencing elderly and disabled Ohioans to death. They need to know that we’re watching.”
