Following his 17:36 performance at today's 2A State Championships, we caught up with Albia XC and Track & Field junior Ben Wilson to recap his first experience running in Fort Dodge! Excited to see him chase another bid to State next year for Albia Community Schools!

Wanted to post this earlier, but have been battling poor cell service, so apologies for the delay! Following back-to-back 5th place finishes the past two years, Chariton Boys Cross Country leaves NO DOUBT about who's #1 in Class 2A smoking the field with a team score of 42!!

She's bringing the hardware back to Albia Community Schools, Lady Dee fans! Albia XC and Track & Field senior McKenna Montgomery becomes the first in *Girls* program history to win a State Championship with her time of 18:20 today, 5th-fast all time! She, along with her sister, Mady, join us to recap an incredible morning and season.

The Lady Dees placed 12th as a team with the following individual times:

Some might call it a perfect day to run 😎 It's State Championship Day in Fort Dodge as the Class 2A & 3A Meet takes place this morning and afternoon featuring runners from Albia XC and Track & Field, Chariton Boys Cross Country, EBF Jr/Sr High & Knoxville Panthers Cross Country!!
