We have been MIA as we enjoyed some, very much needed family time, though the everyday needs of the animals continued on schedule. Tank (Kunekune) had 'Sherry and Dwight' out for a graze today, they are 1 week old, and have already learned that a belly scratch is a wonderful thing, they may be trained by weaning. 3 of the ducks (Rouen) took turns disappearing. 1 returned with 6 ducklings in tow, then 1 with 5, and this morning, another 7. Squeak (African Grey goose) has appointed himself Guardian Ad Litem for the littles. We didn't incubate eggs-because we need to 'reduce' duck numbers. They, evidently, didn't read the memo. 🫣 Blessings to you All!

A 'WEYR' is home to dragons and various weyr beasts. It's said to be a magical place, for those lucky enough to locate one. I've heard people say that their chickens are mini dinosaurs, personally knowing chickens, I doubted that...and now, there's 'internet' proof! They do belong here...in the weyr. 😁
