Video footage shows the state of Beck’s Country Shoppe in Urbana as of Wednesday morning following last week’s storm. The furniture and upholstery business faces substantial damages such as damaged exterior walls, torn-down signage and caved-in roofs. The EF-1 tornado that hit Beck’s started at North Duncan Road, near Interstate 74 and U.S. Highway 150, at around 7:20 p.m. on June 11. The tornado continued eastbound for approximately 10 minutes damaging solar arrays, trees, fencing and roofing in its path, according to the National Weather Service. Winds reached an estimated peak of 100 miles per hour.
