The Perimeter Road students are beginning their training on the main mixing board that will be used for our Music Festival on May 4th. Thanks to Spalding Audio for bringing the equipment into the classroom and giving hands on training!

Perimeter Road is pleased to announce that Manifest West will be performing at the festival this year! Manifest West is a unique alternative/indie rock band. The band is known for their wild on-stage antics, and consistently play live shows throughout the year. From guitar smashes, to wardrobe changes, to chantable fan-favorites, the band captivates audiences and are sure to leave a smile on their face after a show. Perimeter Road is beyond excited to have Sweetmelk at this year's music festival!! Sweetmelk is dynamically sentimental, bombastic durgey goodness from Champaign Urbana IL. Fronted by powerhouse Kenna Mae, known for their dynamic vocal delivery and raw emotional honesty, is joined by drummer James Mauck and bassist Stephen Emerson. Mauck has a masters in Jazz Percussion, deep interest in improvised music and a long history of melting faces with blast beats in basements. Stephen is a multi instrumentalist with roots in punk, new age, math rock and electronic music. The combination of Stephen’s sweet danceable sparkle, Kenna’s richly dark and desperate sCREAMo vocals, and Mauck’s total percussive destruction results in a sonic sovereignty that’ll leave your beard in a puddle on the floor, your t**s up and your balls fully dropped. You’re welcome. Its as if David Bowie and Julia Jacklin made a baby and raised it on pure sugar and RiotGirl S**t ‘stead of HotGirl S**t. Wear your best band tee and bring your earplugs. Perimeter Road is thrilled to announce that Tessa Turner will be playing at the Festival this year! Tessa will be taking the stage at 2:00 p.m. at the Festival on May 4th. Tessa's song-writing is inspired by the complexity of the human experience. With her original music, she aims to capture both the joy and the darkness of life. Perimeter Road recorded one of Tessa's songs over this past school year. Mark those calendars and come out for a great time!

Perimeter Road is thrilled to announce that Haki N Dem will be playing at the Festival this year! Haki n Dem will be taking the stage at 1:00 p.m. at the Festival on May 4th. Haki n Dem is a funky, neo-soul experience reminiscent of the legendary of influences of Prince, Earth Wind and Fire, and Sly and the Family Stone. Mark those calendars and come out for a great time!
