One aspect of the industry that I don’t find enough folks talking about is integrity. 😊
Of all the values I hold dear to myself; integrity in how I operate, who I work with, and how I treat others is something that has not only gotten me a lot of respect, but it helps me sleep better at night. 🩵
There is a lot of distractions in the “scene” and opportunties that pop up to challenge this… but in my experience I’d rather rather say no to a festival or show with questionable ethics than turn a blind eye like many do in hopes for fame. Guess what? We need more artists, managers, and promoters to care about the safety of their communities above all else….more so than ever in these times. Being silent to bad behavior is supporting said behavior. ✨
With this being said, a massive thank you to those who do operate with integrity, care about the safety of their scene, and walk the walk. It’s not always the easiest path, but it is the right one. Happy Friday. ✨🩵✨
