Praise the Lord!! Our 1st afternoon at Blumer Outfitters was one I will never forget! We drove up yesterday morning, shot the guns, & headed to the stand for the evening! A cold front pushing through brought us a perfect NW wind & high pressure giving me high hopes for the evening! Jesse had showed me pictures of this buck earlier in the week but said he never had a daylight picture and wasn’t sure if he was killable but we were gonna give it our best shot! As the evening moved on & the wind began to die down, deer started filtering out into a small wheat field we were overlooking. About 40 min before dark, spotted a giant framed buck coming out of the tree row at 500 yards away & there was no doubt it was him! To be honest, even though he stepped out with a ton of daylight left, I wasn’t 100% confident he was going to make it in range before legal shooting light ended. However, the good Lord shined on us and he slowly began working his way out into the wheat field headed our direction. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally presented me a 160yard shot 10 min before dark and the Endura dropped him in his tracks! I can’t thank Blumer Outfitters enough for the opportunity to come hunt with them and allow me an opportunity shoot my biggest framed buck (by a long shot)! To top it all off, I got to celebrate with the rest of the crew in camp from , , and ! What a super special hunt with my amazing wife behind the lens on this big framed stud and a hunt we won’t forget! Thank you Lord for blessing me more than I deserve. May You get all the praise & glory through it all! Now let’s keep the big buck train rolling.. happy hunting my friends!!🦌

So happy & proud of my wife for getting it done last night here in Kansas! This is the only buck we were after & he sure made it tough on us. Having only been getting night time pics of him, we decided to try something different/risky last night with hopes we might catch him in the daylight. We walked into the farm, picked a tree close to where we knew some deer were coming out into the field, & got setup in our saddles. The evening started off slow with only a few does & then it all changed that last 20 minutes. As we were watching some does in front of us, we heard a few bucks lightly sparring off the the NE so I swung the camera around to see which deer it was and sure enough it was him! He slowly started working his way around the point where we were sitting & looked like it was about to be absolute money. All the sudden, he turned 180° & started getting real spooky.. I believe some does had walked in behind us and got our wind but it was too late for him! Whitney put the new Endura LRH to work at 40 yards & he didn’t make it 50 yards! Thank you Lord for a great start to the season and for allowing us the success! May you get all the glory! Big thanks to for letting us take over the farm and hunt during the early muzzleloader season! Congratulations babe on a big ol giant Kansas Buck!! Can’t wait for you all to see the footage soon!
