A judge in Maricopa County Superior Court, Adele Ponce, ruled that the tax credit program is legal and does not violate the Gift Clause.

The ruling gives the state (and the film industry) more clarity that this incentive program is legally sustainable, which may make Arizona more competitive in attracting film/TV production.
