I just noticed an autographed book I recently posted was dated September 19. If you are not doing anything this September 19, join me in Jackson, OH. The next book in my series releases that day. I know I say it's weird every time, but this one is weird. It's over 700 pages and involves quantum travel. And every one of the alternate worlds happens in Jackson, OH on September 19. Multiple scenes take place at Sixth Sense Brewery Kitchen + Drink Hall , and that's where the event is happening from 7-9pm. Come out, have some drinks, get a book you can use as a door stop for $15 and maybe the Danksquatch will be on tap. I can't promise that one, to buy let's hope. Add the next day, Saturday Sept 20, find me roaming around the Mothman Festival. And if you want to make a week of it, find me after that in yellow springs Ohio while I purchase the cemetery plot for the chupacabra shrine.

Authors, what's on your bucket list? Best seller? Sold out events? Near the top of mine is to return to the UK and complete the Golden Mile challenge with and matthewjwalsh in England. And maybe, just maybe, avenge myself for your "considerable amount of damage" incurred in 2003 in a Welsh roundabout. Get it down ya.

This fall Myths and Malts is hitting the road. First, Jackson, OH, September 19 at Sixth Sense Brewing for the release of The Creatures from Canters Cave and the Danksquatch. On November 7, catch us at Crazy Gnome Brewery in Nashville for the Fearsome Folklore Festival. And, the exact date is yet to be confirmed, but we'll be at the International Cryptozoology Museum in Bangor, ME in October. We're going out with a bang in 2026. Stay tuned for more details

Mid year check-in: The Dark Road is published and Canter's Cave is ready to release September 19. The other two books are written but pushed back to 2027. I have completed one library event and one cryptid event so far, but I'm scheduled for the Fearsome Folklore Festival in Nashville in November, the book release event in Jackson, OH is scheduled at Sixth Sense Brewery Kitchen + Drink Hall September 19, 7pm-9pm, and I'm trying to get something this fall at the international cryptozoology museum in Bangor (stay tuned). The film, the video game, and the company's growth with employees is related to an internship idea I had but haven't had the time to implement yet. Still hope for fall quarter 2026 after Labor Day... So far I am placed in one mobile bookstore as a consignment. Check out Ink & Ivy in New Jersey. I'm still hoping to connect with Josh CreaturePreacher Schaller . And I have ideas for the YouTube videos. I just need to reach out and make it happen. But one major project that was not on my bingo card looks like it is a go. Maybe October or December. Still time to hit these goals. If I had my intern team, it would happen. Let's see what the final 6 months brings 👀

🎸 Field Notes moment come to life!

Each book in the T.I.M.E. Agency series ends with a Sound Booth section, which is the music I'm listening to while writing the book, and I think it's cool enough to share with you.

Well, one of the bands featured in The Jersey Devil and the Silky Intergalactic Pajamas just played Tempe yesterday! Grocery Bag out of Austin, TX hit the final stop of their tour and absolutely rocked the house. If you get a chance, check them out. You won't be disappointed. 🤘
