Way back in Book 1, our cryptid investigators rolled through San Antonio and grabbed a cold one at . The Old Bat Rastard had just unfurled his wings, and stretched out like he’d woken up from a lengthy nap. It felt like the first spring day and new beginnings —and a perfect beginning for the team. Real brewery. Real beer. Real story. I hope the Bat Rastard returns in the future.

People ask me, , how does the work in your books? Easy, throughout each book, Kareem takes a selfie at usually five locations. At the end of the book there is a selfie check list, just in case you missed it. Take a photo at any location and use the hash tag, and post it online. It counts. Maybe you'll get a signed book for your trouble. Book 8, the lizard man, will come out in July, so you don't know the locations yet, but here's 5 out of the 6. It's that easy
