Erin and Dave Nevicosi traded Midwest winters for mountain views and a life lived outdoors. ❄️➡️☀️Neighborhood walks, open-air sporting events, and outdoor fitness all make their year-round calendar, including Dave’s backyard weightlifting routine through the peak of Arizona summers. 🏋️🔥💪🏻
Choosing Chandler allowed our cover family to create a life that fits who they are and who they hope their children will become. ❤️ “We’re still proud to have been the ones to do the brave thing and change our environment, so that our kids and grandkids and future generations will get to enjoy a great quality of life,” says Erin. 🙌

All five members of our March cover family are Arizona natives and all have graduated, or are working towards a degree, from a university in Arizona. ☀️🌵🎓
Dara Gibson grew up in Tempe, while DeWitt Gibson is from Paradise Valley. The couple - both who work in technology and leadership - chose to build their life and family in the same community where their story began. ❤️🏠
Their adult children are finding their own paths. Connor is a flight instructor, Garrett is persuing a degree in computer science, and Ansley is a senior at Hamilton with hopes to work in film and production. ✈️💻📽️

Chandler isn’t just where the Hubbells live, it’s where their love story began. ❤️ Born at the same hospital and raised in our city, Cody and J.T. are now raising their daughters, Preslyn and Shayne, on a horse property in south Chandler. 🏠🐴
Music first brought the couple together when they were teenagers. They later reconnected through a band, ultimately forming Desert Dixie, a band that still plays a few shows each month, from local festivals to more intimate venues like Bottle & Bean🎶🎤 Music remains a constant in their home. The girls too are already finding their own creative paths. 🎹🎸🪩🎨

Welcome 2026! 🥳 We’re proud to kick off the new year with the Sanchez family on the cover of Stroll Chandler Ocotillo. 🙌
Ashley and Juan, with their children Mason Cutler and Micaela Sanchez and their rescue dog Rogue, are deeply involved in the Chandler Community. ❤️
Ashley recently launched her own marketing agency after 13 years in aerospace and defense communications, while Juan trains baseball players from youth leagues to professional athletes. 🚀⭐️ ⚾️
Mason and Michaela are active in sports and school, and the whole family volunteers regularly with AZCEND. 🧢🪩🥋📕
From coaching and travel to family dinners and serving the community, they set an example of balance and dedication. 👍

Local business owner Belle Yu purchased the former home of Ocotillo developer Bernie Hoogestraat, giving her son Ryan, an 11-year-old scratch golfer, direct access to the course. ⛳️ 🏡
With grandparents cooking and gardening; nephew Michael balancing ASU life with caddie duties and working in the family business; and Belle at the helm; this is what multigenerational living looks like when everyone leans in. ❤️

For Malesha and Nic Goode, life is all about family, neighbors, and adventure. ❤️ Together with their daughters, Aubreyanna and Alivia, their days are filled with laughter, travel, and plenty of local pride. 🌵☀️
Malesha proudly serves as Marketing Director at Von Hanson’s Meats, a Chandler favorite since 2004 and a longtime supporter of Stroll Chandler Ocotillo. 🥩🧀🍖🍷Through their family-owned business, the Goodes stay deeply involved in the community, supporting local events like the Chandler BBQ Festival and SanTan Oktoberfest, and connecting with fellow East Valley businesses. 😃 👍🏻🙌

Meet the Melsons: Chris, Jess, Beckett, Etta, Hendrick, and their rescue pup, Zoe. 🐾
Since moving from Colorado in 2020, they’ve embraced Chandler with faith, family traditions (think holiday PJ scavenger hunts), and lots of adventure. ❤️
Chris loves golf and pickleball ⛳️, Jess launched Southwest Organizing Solutions with a dear friend and joined the Stroll Chandler Ocotillo writing team this year 💥, and the kids keep life full with basketball 🏀, games 🎲, and silly socks 🧦.

From Minnesota ❄️ to Chandler ☀️, Will and Kristen’s journey is full of love, adventure, and a little Midwestern charm. ❤️
They found each other in early 2020, took the leap and moved across the country, and quickly put down roots - along with their two pups, Brodiee and Ryder. 🐕 🐕
When they’re not running their businesses or enjoying date nights in downtown Chandler, you’ll find them traveling, playing pickleball, or relaxing in their backyard oasis. 🤩
With hearts as big as their ambitions, this couple brings warmth and energy to every corner of our city. 🏡

For Elizabeth and Bryce, Chandler provides the ideal space for their lives in every way: academically, socially, and professionally. ❤️
Their four children study in the same school district where Elizabeth was first educated, and the community offers everything they need for their varied interests in flag football, soccer, mountain biking, and dance. 🏈 🚲 ⚽️ 🪩
The couple own and operate local businesses. In addition to working as an RN with Banner Health, Elizabeth runs Reverie Floral, and Bryce is hands on with Haven Home and The Kitchen Outpost. 🌸🏠
