Every week I get an email from a company, and it’s one of those emails that I read start to finish religiously. It’s one that I really look forward to receiving every week.

Then, out of the blue a few weeks back, their email hit my inbox, and it was the biggest disconnect I’ve ever seen.

It was so strange. It felt like the email was a direct cut and paste from AI, and I had to read it again to make sure it was from the company that I thought it was from. My first thoughts were, did they get a new marketing person, or maybe the person who normally writes the emails was on vacation or out sick this week? It could not have been more different than the email that normally lands in my inbox.

The weirdest thing was the emails that normally come from this company make me feel a connection, they always provide value and meet me where I’m at. The one that was directly from AI felt like it could have been written by anybody and felt like it was coming from left field.

This feels like one of the most blatant examples I’ve seen recently of how something beautiful and well-received absolutely took a wrong turn and landed horribly.

If you are a small business using unedited, straight cut and paste from AI for your social media and your emails, are you feeling the disconnect on your end?

I promise you the recipient is feeling it on their end and there is something you can and need to do about it.

Don’t miss this week’s episode where Kristi breaks down just because AI is working doesn’t mean it’s working for you and what you can do to fix it.

You will hear this everywhere: Scale, build the team, get bigger, do more…But what if that isn't actually what you want? 👇

This week we are taking a closer look at the pressure to grow, especially in real estate, and why bigger being better is a myth. We're sharing our own experiences chasing that path, where it led us, and why we started questioning it in the first place.

We talk about how you can build something that looks successful on the outside, but doesn't actually feel good to run. The stress, the expectations, and the constant push for more can move you further away from the life you were trying to create all along. 🫣

At the end of the day, this episode is really about taking a step back and asking yourself what you actually want your business and your life to look like. Not what the industry says, not what everyone else is doing, just you.

If you've been feeling the pressure to grow but something about it doesn't feel right, this one is for you.🎙️

Recently a friend asked me a question that I can’t stop thinking about, “what is enough?” I did not have an answer at the time and as I keep marinating on it I’m starting to get more clarity around. The big thing that I’m noticing is how my definition of enough keeps shifting as I age and what seemed like enough in my 20’s and 30’s is so different from my 50’s. I guess that’s growth, right?

Today the dream idea of “enough” feels like space on my calendar for creativity, time with Mark, time to read a great book and space to say yes when the impromptu invite pops up. One of my favorite things is when a friend reaches out and says, “I know this is super last minute, but…” and I can say HECK YES. Those outings always end up being so dang fun and end up filling my cup more than the highly planned and scheduled outing.

When I reflect back on the last few decades I’m so thankful for all the times that I felt like enough, and even in the moments when I didn’t, it was the prodding that I needed to change things up.

If we were having coffee together and I asked you the question, “what is enough?” would you have an answer or would you have to think about it for a while like I did?

This week Kristi and I recorded a new Unsaid Chat episode where we dove into scaling in business and what it actually means. This topic is so closely tied to enough-ness, and is a great episode to share with a friend.

What if your success didn’t have to look like everyone else’s? 👇

This week, Beth is opening up about trying to run her business the way everyone said she needed to, how it left her feeling frustrated and out of alignment, and what it looked like to let go of those expectations and start doing things her own way.

She dives into what it really means to build a brand around who you are, getting clear on your “why” and redefining what your ideal day looks like. 👏

She shares the mindset shifts and practical steps that helped her reconnect with her purpose.

If you’ve been questioning your direction or craving more alignment in your business, this episode will give you the permission (and the push) to do it your way.

There is this manual that gets handed to us from the time we are little girls about how life is supposed to go and most of us just pick it up and start following it without ever stopping to ask whose manual it actually is.

Go to the right college, get the right job, get married by a certain age, have kids, hit the next milestone and then the next one and then somewhere along the way someone tells you it is time to become an entrepreneur so you do that too, and then it is time to grow the business and scale it and build it bigger and keep going and keep adding and keep becoming more.

And now here we are, some of us in our 40s and 50s, and the pressure has not let up, it has just changed shape. Now it is about what winding down is supposed to look like and whether you are doing that the right way too.

Whose path are we actually following and why have so many of us spent so much energy trying to follow something that was never actually designed for us in the first place?

The version of success that feels aligned for you might look nothing like what everyone else is doing and that is not a problem to fix, that is actually the whole point. I dive deep into this on the podcast this week and if any of this is resonating with you, this one is for you. Awards, accolades, and “top producer” lists are everywhere in industries like real estate, but what happens when your name isn't on them? 🫢

In this week's episode we have an honest conversation about the emotional side of recognition, why feeling overlooked hurts, and why awards can sometimes feel more like a popularity contest than a true reflection of the work we do. 👇

From childhood memories of wanting to be picked to the modern pressure to be publicly validated, we unpack why recognition can feel so personal.

We are flipping the script on the idea that awards define success. Do clients actually care about awards, or do they care about how we show up for them?

We talk about why real impact comes from authenticity, relationships, and serving people well and not chasing recognition.

If you've ever felt the pressure to prove yourself or wondered if you're “doing enough,” this episode is a reminder that your value goes far beyond an awards list.

Running a business can feel like juggling ten jobs at once...🤯

You're an accountant, bookkeeper, marketer, salesperson, and everything in between. At some point, the question becomes unavoidable: how long can you keep doing it all yourself?

In this week's episode we talk about the moment many entrepreneurs face when the workload becomes too much and hiring starts to feel less like a risk and more like a necessity. We share our own experiences with letting go of control, shifting from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset, and learning how the right hire can create space to focus on what actually grows the business.👇

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed trying to do it all, this conversation might be the push you need to take the next step.

We were basically trained for this.

From childhood, I watched the women around me do everything, hold it all together, show up for everyone, and push through without complaining. I absorbed that programming early, if I wanted it done right, I had to do it yourself.

I always felt like that wiring was my superpower….until it became the glass ceiling of my business.

I did all the things. Running The BPR Experience, processing files, handling tech, writing social content and emails, bringing in business, and managing an entire team’s behind-the-scenes. Not because I had to, but because letting go felt like something would fall.

I never got the neon sign saying “it’s time to hire an employee” but when I ripped off the bandaid and hired Karey, everything shifted. Does any of this sound familiar?

Here are 3 easy ways to start releasing control:

1. Audit your week honestly. Write down every task and ask: does this actually require me? That’s your delegation list.

2. Delegate the task, not the outcome. Be clear on the result you need, then let them get there their own way. Trust is a muscle, start training it.

3. Start smaller than you think. A few hours a week with the right person is enough to show you what’s possible.

What could you build if you stopped carrying it all? Now that I have taken the leap, I know the sky’s the limit for me and my business.

This week we dive into how to do just that and it’s definitely one you’ll want to share with a friend. Head to our bio to listen now.

This week on the podcast, we’re mixing things up and trying something new. We’re calling it The Unsaid. 🎙️

We dropped the script and let ourselves have a real conversation about what it means to stay human in business when so much of it feels transactional and disconnected. Instead of tidy talking points, we went into the things that often get overlooked. Life changes, hard seasons, the realities people are carrying while still showing up to work every day.

There is so much happening beneath the surface for all of us, yet professional spaces rarely make room for that truth. 👇

In this episode, we explore what it looks like to truly see the person in front of you and respond with empathy instead of rushing to the next task. We talk about building businesses that acknowledge real life, not just productivity and show up instead of hide.

It’s honest, thoughtful, and grounded in practical ways to show up differently for your clients, colleagues, and community.

If you’ve been feeling the tension between doing business and being human, this conversation is for you.
