I’ve spoken with a couple of residents this morning—same general story.

Animals gone sometime overnight. No damage, no signs of forced entry, and in at least one case, gates were still secured.

It’s quiet out here. No obvious activity, no indication of what might’ve caused it.

Right now, no official word from local authorities, but people are definitely taking notice.”

“We’re following a developing situation out of the Wildwood Crossing area this morning.

A handful of reports have come in overnight involving animals going missing.

At this point, nothing has been officially confirmed, but multiple residents are describing similar circumstances.

WCN69’s Caleb Ward is out near the edge of Crossing with more.

Tom: “Quick update coming in this morning.

We’re starting to get a few more calls out of the Wildwood Crossing area about animals going missing overnight.

Nothing official, no reports filed yet—but it’s more than one person saying the same thing.

Pets not coming back, a couple of livestock reported gone out on the edge of town.

What’s odd… no signs left behind. Gates still shut, no tracks that anyone’s mentioned.

Could be coincidence.

But if you’ve got animals, you might want to keep them close for now.

If you’ve seen anything—or if you’re missing something—give us a call here at the station.

We’ll keep an ear on it.”

“Alright, 6:16 on the dial… Tom here at Ghost Station AM616.

Quick look outside—Chaparral’s already warming up, and we’re heading for another hot one.

Mid-90s later today, clear skies, not much wind. If you’ve got anything to do around Wildwood Crossing, get it done early.

Markets wrapped up steady yesterday. The S&P 500 held its ground heading into the weekend—nothing wild, just kind of drifting where it’s been.

Now… quick follow-up on something we mentioned yesterday.

Couple more calls overnight about… odd activity around town.

Lights out near the edge of Crossing flickering again, and somebody swears they heard machinery running out past the old service road—place hasn’t had power in years.

Probably nothing.

But if you’re out early this morning… just keep your eyes open.

We’ll keep listening.

It’s already warming up across Chaparral this morning, and we’re on track for another hot day around Wildwood Crossing.

Afternoon highs will climb into the mid-90s under mostly sunny skies.

Conditions stay dry, with very little wind, so that heat is going to build quick as we head through the day.

Around town, expect things to slow down during the peak afternoon hours, with most folks getting errands done early.

Looking ahead, not much change—more sunshine, more heat, and warm nights sticking with us through the weekend.

Highs pushing up into the upper 70s today, and even warmer as we head through the week.
