We do accept previously published poems with acknowledgements as long as the poet retains rights.

I noticed that 32 folks who have been accepted by the Heron Clan Anthology in the past did NOT submit poems for Heron Clan VIII. It's a lot hard to get in now, but most of you are so good, our five editors would find it hard to resist. Heron Clan IX is open for submission, and that continues until October 30, 2021. I will try to remind the FB crowd again in September, as we only make intermittent choices and thus can be slow at determining which poems are accepted.

The Heron Clan VIII cover is a painting by Nancy Smith. The book comes out in October. More poets from Ireland, and a new batch from Nigeria appear this time.
