Pay attention folks: NC politics is funneling your $ to buy votes.

The state allocated $10 million, over two years, for a new treatment center in Robeson County. The allocation comes despite Hope Alive being a relatively young organization without any track record of providing drug treatment.

Not surprised that EPA has opened an investigation into NCDEQ regarding a "complaint alleging that NC DEQ discriminated against Black, Latino and Native American residents of Duplin and Sampson Counties on the basis of race and national origin in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000(d) et seq., and EPA’s nondiscrimination regulation, at 40 C.F.R. Part 7, when on March 31, 2021, NC DEQ issued three (3) individual swine animal waste management system permits and one (1) certificate of coverage, that authorize the construction and operation of anaerobic digestion animal waste treatment systems to produce renewable energy."
