Lots of new music!

Although take on “Harvest Moon” only accounts for .7% of the musical output on this compilation, we’ve got to call out ‘Cardinals at the Window’ first. It’s a massive album (136 tracks!) with 100% of the proceeds benefiting great organizations working in WNC post-Helene (Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, Rural Organizing and Resilience (ROAR), and BeLoved Asheville). Pick it up exclusively on and thanks to & for their work in putting this together so quickly.

Other releases! teamed up with & .tice to put their spin on some traditional tunes and ‘Wild Rose of Morning’ is out today. went a different direction and put their spin on two gems.

And on the live front, graced us with Live at Layman in celebration of the 5 year anniversary of her album Desert Dove *and* Humbird dropped a ripping session.

Amidst seasonal allergies & the blankets of pollen in NC, finding reasons to celebrate this spring.

‘Right On’ is officially out today and the release tour starts next week! They are the artist of the month and I think this quote nails the record - “On ‘Right On,’ Humbird weaves modern-day Midwestern fairy tales…her loudest yet. Where her sound was quiet and contemplative, it now rages and simmers.” Turn it up loud.

Today Ben T Lubeck dropped a beautiful new song about family. He’s more eloquent than I am, so in his words “My wife has always said that our relationship is the core of our family. Asheville has long been a favorite city and The Grey Eagle has been a venue that's been a backbone of their local music scene for years. I can't tell you how many great shows I've taken in at the venue (or how much good food I've eaten - RIP Twin Cousins). When the offer came in for Mandolin Orange to headline their 25th anniversary celebration, I was stoked. The cherry on top is we'd also just confirmed a Michaela Anne headlining show for April 25th.
