This beautiful, black and tan girl is ready to make every day a brighter day for some lucky humans. She is sweet and loving. Daphne is often a mellow girl but loves to go outside and get her zoomies out. She loves a ball! She knows some basic commands and walks well on leash. She's the total package!

Firefly Carrboro is more than a bead and gift shop – it's a gathering place owned by Melanie Jackson where creatives can learn and grow together through workshops, private lessons and designing one-of-a-kind jewelry at the store's Bead Bar 📿🫶

Sidra Grove has worked at the Carr Mill Mall shop since 1999. "I've stayed because I care about the shop and what it represents," she says. "I care about bringing joy, whether we fix a beloved necklace or teach someone how to make one."

The Carr Mill Mall bead shop has long served as a haven for creativity, bringing local makers together at its Bead Bar.

Henley is about 8 years old, and she's a professional couch potato. She's also the chief executive officer of snuggles and belly rubs. This beautiful girl loves leisurely walks and relaxing on a grassy lawn. She's done well on field trips away from the shelter, and she can't wait to find people who will love her and spoil her.

🚨 The Expedition School needs our help! 🚨

The Hillsborough charter school flooded during the storms this week ⛈️, and educators like Julie McCauley are counting on the community to come together and help clean, donate and restore the school. 🧹📗

🧼 Join the cleanup crew: Wednesday, July 9, from 6-8 p.m.

📚 Donate or lend supplies: Plastic tubs, dehumidifiers, fans, fully fueled generators or shop vacs.

💵 Donate funds: Many supplies need to be replaced, and any amount helps!
