Ahhh sanding… the rabbit hole where time disappears, arms get a free workout, and you swear you’ll stop after ‘just one more pass.’ 👀

Truth is, woodworking doesn’t always need to be flawless. Sometimes ‘done’ beats ‘perfect’ — because the real perfection is sitting back with a cold drink, watching a sunset smoother than anything I could ever hit with 320 grit. 🌅🍻

Sometimes a joint just doesn’t come together the way you planned… so I broke out a patch inlay to turn an ugly mistake into a feature. That’s small shop life—problem solving on the fly with a little creativity (and a pile of clamps, thanks to Pony Jorgensen 💪).

Shoutout to all the YouTube-taught woodworkers out there—you know exactly what I mean. Every project is a classroom, and the best lessons come from fixing what doesn’t go right the first time.
