Here it is midnight.. my husband and kids are sleeping, and as a mom who deals with anxiety and many other things. I told myself take a warm shower and do some self care for YOU…so i did and then did my skin care routine which lets be honest its been about 2 weeks since i have done my skin care routine. Today was a much harder day for me and with this podcast i want to make sure everyone knows its okay to not be okay, its okay to not feel 100% not everyday do i do my make up or hair heck most of the days i want to stay in my pjs and not talk to anyone which i would never document as most people on social media only document and post the good. I feel being a mom we are ran very thin , most days are overwhelming and we are over stimulated, sometimes we dont get enough praise or encouragement that we are doing the best we can and a good job at that. Here is the raw truth if we are being honest and not many talk about it. This is my WHY….on why im excited and over joyed my sister inlaw and i are doing this podcast as yes we are ”just” moms but we also have so many more things to speak upon than just being a mom as we mentioned addiction, mental health and also so many stories that others have experienced and i feel will touch someone even if its just 1.. thats what matters! 🫶🏼 cant wait for our first podcast to be released.. we have a giveaway coming up as we are just starting out so stay tuned as sarah and i will announce the giveaway!

Hi I’m Sarah Reynolds, co- founder of Two Mama’s and a Mic. Im 29 years old. I’m from Maryland but moved to West Virginia with my husband where I’ve lived for the last 4 years. I’m currently a stay at home mom of a 3 year old little boy, and have a 14 year old bonus son. I struggle everyday with chronic pain, anxiety and depression. It’s not easy, and is a daily battle.

In 2018 I lost my mother to a drug overdose. After years of addiction her body just couldn’t handle it anymore. She struggled not only with addiction but her mental health. I truly feel like addiction, and mental health are not talked about enough, especially with Mothers and Fathers who struggle daily. I would love to bring awareness to the struggles of not only life as a mother, but life as an addict, and the lives of people who struggle everyday with mental health. This is the reason I’ve started this podcast with my sister in law, we Have to stop ignoring these things like they will just go away. Please come and hangout with us as we bring light to struggles and joys of motherhood, bring light to those who struggle with addiction and those who struggle with mental health. You are heard, you are seen, you are safe with us.

Hello , My name is Marcia , i am founder of “Two Mama’s and a mic”. My heart has been drawn to creating a podcast that we can all relate to in some way, rather it be..being a mom, daily life struggles , mental illness, or even addiction. I feel not enough people talk about it! My sister inlaw Sarah is co founder of our podcast and i knew when doing this I couldn’t do it without her she has struggles and a story of her own and i knew it could make an impact in someones life and they could relate .Here is alittle back story on who i am.. I am 29 years old and a mom of 3.. a 7 year old,3 year old, and a 2 year old. Life is hectic to say the least. I was born and raised in Charles Town WV and still reside here to this day. I struggle with anxiety and depression which can close you off from everyone. Ive had loved ones effected by addiction and its something i strongly advocate for as everyone deserves a second chance at life! I have been a working mom and a stay at home mom and lets be real both are HARD. I hope this podcast helps to shed light on so many things, as we will have guests coming on our podcast once a week with their story.. their advice in hopes to help someone and them not feel alone! 🫶🏼
