Run Play Explore At RunPlayExplore, we help homeschooling families create their own unit studies! Join our group! I’m Kaitlyn, a former teacher and homeschool mom of three.

I’m married to Andrew, and we live in beautiful South Carolina. I overuse emojis and exclamation points! Our three kiddos were born in 2015, 2018, and 2020. The oldest two live with Type 1 Diabetes. We are celebrating a whole decade of having this amazing little boy (young man?!) in our lives. Our family is so lucky to have such a helpful, kind, and funny guy as a part of it. He cares for everyone, is always looking for a way to help others, and is eager to explore and learn new things. He loves reading and imaginative play, and we love our sweet first boy. Half a decade with our girl and I’m so thankful that she’s ours!

Whether she’s belting Hannah Montana, showing us her latest dance, or planting her feet and standing her ground, she is tenacious and adorable. Happiest of birthdays to our girl! We love you.

What a whirlwind week we’ve had! Homeschool, our own “cave paintings”, a stop at the zoo on the way to Pickens, SC to see South Carolina’s only publicly accessible ancient petroglyphs, (you have to see our reel highlighting that awesome spot!). Got home late Saturday and spent Sunday celebrating our soon-to-be 5 year old and practicing new (supported) sitting skills!
